Description
Core Gameplay
HueBridge introduces a unique mechanic: you can create bridges – short segments that allow one path to pass over another. Each level provides a limited number of bridge tokens. Your task is to connect all colour pairs without intersecting paths, using bridges only where necessary. This adds a tactical layer without altering the core connection logic.
Level & Content Design
This title contains 260 puzzles across 5 zones. Each zone focuses on a different board shape (square, rectangular, L-shaped, circular, and honeycomb). Bridge tokens per level range from 0 to 5, indicated clearly at the start. Difficulty grows gradually; early levels require no bridges, while later levels demand careful bridge placement. No new puzzles are automatically delivered – the product is complete upon purchase.
Visuals & Experience
A clean architectural style – grids resemble blueprint paper, paths are vivid, and bridges appear as small arched icons. When a path uses a bridge, the line visually hops over the crossed path. Zoom and pan are available for larger boards. Animations are subtle and fast.
Key Features
A bridge counter tracks remaining tokens. The undo function reverts both path drawing and bridge usage. A ‘reset level’ button clears all progress on the current puzzle. The hint system highlights a cell where a bridge might be beneficial. No data collection or account creation is required.
User Value
HueBridge develops resource management skills and strategic trade-off thinking. The bridge mechanic introduces satisfying ‘eureka’ moments when you find an efficient solution. It appeals to puzzle fans who enjoy limited-resource challenges.
Usage Scenarios
Perfect for a quiet afternoon at home, during a long train journey, or as a focused break between household tasks. Its modest screen time makes it suitable for older adults as well.
