Colour Pass introduces gate cells that only open when a specific colour path passes through them. Each puzzle contains coloured gates (e.g., a red gate can only be crossed by the red path). Your goal remains to connect all colour pairs without intersecting paths, but you must route each path through its matching coloured gates in the correct order. This adds sequencing constraints.
Level & Content Design
The game includes 240 puzzles, structured into 4 ‘realms’. Early puzzles have one gate per colour; advanced puzzles feature multiple gates and ‘gate locks’ that require passing through gates in a specific sequence. Board sizes vary from 5×5 to 10×10. All puzzles are hand-authored and have exactly one solution. No automatic updates – the product is complete upon purchase.
Visuals & Experience
A medieval map theme – parchment background, gates drawn as small castle icons, paths as coloured ribbons. When a path correctly passes through a gate, the gate glows briefly. The drawing interface is smooth, with snap-to-grid assistance. Sound effects are optional and minimal.
