Description

Core Gameplay
Chroma Web presents puzzles on an irregular graph (nodes and edges) rather than a grid. Colour dots are placed on nodes. You must draw paths along the edges of the graph to connect each colour pair, without using any edge more than once. The graph can contain cycles and dead ends. The goal is to connect all pairs using a subset of edges without overlap.

Level & Content Design
The game includes 215 puzzles, each based on a different graph structure (e.g., star, tree, cube, dodecahedron). Early graphs are simple trees; advanced graphs are dense networks. Puzzle complexity grows by the number of colour pairs (up to 6) and graph size (up to 30 nodes). All graphs are fixed and hand-designed. No updates.

Visuals & Experience
A scientific diagram aesthetic – nodes as circles, edges as thin grey lines, paths as coloured thick overlays. You draw by clicking nodes in sequence. The interface includes a zoom and pan. The design is clean and functional, emphasising clarity over decoration.

Key Features
An ‘edge usage’ indicator shows how many times each edge has been used (should be 0 or 1). Unlimited undo. A hint system highlights a colour pair that can be connected using unused edges. No timers or leaderboards. Offline only.

User Value
Chroma Web develops graph theory intuition and abstract reasoning. It is excellent for players who enjoy mathematical or algorithmic puzzles. The graph format offers variety beyond traditional grids.

Usage Scenarios
Well-suited for a dedicated puzzle session at a desk, during a study break, or as a brain-teaser for those with an analytical mindset.
