Core Gameplay
Hue Weave requires connecting colour pairs while weaving paths over and under each other. Instead of bridges, you assign each path segment a ‘layer’ (top or bottom). Crossings are allowed only if one path goes over and the other under. The goal is to connect all pairs without any same-layer crossing. This adds a 2.5D thinking element.
Level & Content Design
The game contains 255 puzzles, split into 8 chapters. Early chapters teach layer mechanics with only two colours. Later chapters introduce three-layer boards (top, middle, bottom) and ‘layer-locked’ cells. Puzzle sizes vary from 5×5 to 9×9. All puzzles are static and hand-tested. No auto-updates are included.
Visuals & Experience
A semi-transparent 3D aesthetic – paths on higher layers cast subtle shadows onto lower layers. You can rotate the view slightly to perceive layering. Colour choices are bright but not neon. The drawing interface includes layer toggles (icons for top/middle/bottom). Performance is optimised for integrated graphics.

A ‘layer preview’ highlights which layer your cursor is on. The hint system shows a cell where two different-layer paths can cross safely. Unlimited undo and a full reset button. No user accounts or cloud saves – progress is stored locally.
